Hello. I'm Marv, creator of Big Wet Huck. I've been kayaking for 13
years now; for seven of those I've been based in central Scotland. I currently
live in Glasgow, home of Irn Bru and only an hours drive from a multitude of
rivers.

years now; for seven of those I've been based in central Scotland. I currently
live in Glasgow, home of Irn Bru and only an hours drive from a multitude of
rivers.
The majority of my kayaking has been in Scotland, with a few trips abroad (see the trips section). I've done a lot of the Scottish classics, but I'm also interested in finding runs which haven't been done or aren't done much (see the rivers page for details.
I'm currently doing a PhD in Glasgow; I'm about halfway through my three and a half year stint in the lab. After that, who knows?
